Growing up on the family farm just outside of Dysart, Iowa I learned the importance and power of community and hard work. I went to Union Community schools, graduated and attended UNI. After college I got a job at USPS where I have had the honor of getting to know many wonderful people that call the Cedar Valley home, not to mention intimate knowledge of every neighborhood in the Cedar Valley, and a few beyond.
I have an amazing, supportive husband of 10 years and 3 beautiful children that call the cedar valley home. In my free time I can be found reading (good book recs always welcome!), going on outdoor adventures with my family, fishing, and enjoying local events and restaurants.
