I’ve proudly called the Cedar Valley home since 1996, when my family immigrated from Bosnia and was welcomed with open arms by this incredible community. Since then, I’ve grown deeply rooted in the area and can truly say there’s no place I’d rather live, work, and raise my own family.
Today, I live in Waterloo with my husband and our young daughter. We love embracing all that the Cedar Valley has to offer—you’ll often find us exploring the local trail systems or enjoying a Saturday morning stroll through the farmer’s market. Supporting small businesses and local organizations is something I value deeply, and I’m grateful to give back to the community through my involvement with the Cedar Bend Humane Society Board and the Junior Achievement Community Impact Board.
